The newest offering comes alongside the announcement of their second album H ea v y, due October 9th — a bold, visceral statement of intent as the band enters their most defining chapter yet. Driven by a pulsing riff, relentless rhythm section and raw, urgent energy, ‘Viper’ captures The Howlers at their most immediate — indie rock ’n’ roll rooted in tension, desire and consequence. It sets the tone for Heavy, a record that sees frontman Adam Y oung push his songwriting into darker, more impulsive territory.
